Result Based Social Collaborative

Social Purpose Community for “Citizen-Felt” Impact

About IF (Impact Forest)

Impact Forest was created to facilitate collaboration across the social impact ecosystem and to provide expertise, resources, and data to facilitate the achievement of missions while strengthening outcomes and transparency. We expand the value of our partners’ current data sets, deepen understanding, and bring granular visibility to impact success. We enabled diverse community stakeholders to work more effectively together. Our goal is to aid in strategically increasing impact while advancing program design and effectiveness.
IF enhances understanding and deepens insights into demographics and circumstances of served populations.
IF aligns partners to shared missions, as they work independently or together to accelerate their results.
IF enables access to expertise, partnering, proven programs, and “thought partner” conversations.
IF promotes stakeholders’ participation in improving best practices, capacity building, and funding returns.
IF deepens insights into barriers, risks, impacts, and success; beyond your focused cause and organization.

The Need

Common Understanding is Missing

“We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.”

Navigating Impact is Challenging

  • Social issues affect the masses.
  • Social impact missions, grants, programs, services, audiences, and systems are framed, designed, selected, and maintained independently by organizations.
  • Standard definitions and metrics, which allow shared understanding across diverse efforts, are missing disenabling the opportunities for rapid movement and assembling of historical data.
  • The base relevant data and tools, which would allow “incubating” social impact providers to leverage others and rapidly scale to full impact potential, is missing.
  • Chasing” funding opportunities encourages competitiveness versus strategic collaboration.

Citizen-Felt Impact

When We Share Understanding, Opportunities for Impact Unfold

Newly Defined

IF defines citizen-felt impact as “the impact from community funding or policy application a citizen recognizes in their daily life.”

The larger “engines” of social impact assess communities through indirect measures. Service providers assess their participants as unique individuals as they engage them through their targeted offerings.

Holistic visibility into the risks, gaps, barriers, and circumstances of individuals that live within communities will allow for the collective movement of communities from risk to resiliency.

Visibility into Circumstances are Needed.

At the center of social issues are the citizens.

FOR ISSUES TO RESOLVE, CITIZENS MUST FEEL THE RESOLUTION

Why IF?

Impact Forest is NOT a Social Impact Expert, Nor Does it Care to Be

Incubating Impact

We have created an “impact incubator” that enables experts, funders, and providers like you to come together to leverage knowledge, accelerate delivery, monitor circumstances, improve results, increase capacity, and achieve the higher return on funding.

What if the most effective solutions are yet to be envisioned?

How can we come together to solve a problem that we do not define or measure the same?

How quickly can we adjust our impact to address the next unexpected community crisis?

The Advantage

Who Should Participate?

“ACTIVATE while you ADVOCATE”

“Thoughts Are a Valuable Thing to Share”
LisaAnn

Impact Forest uses THOUGHT GROUPS as a means for its partners to formally come together for targeted conversations to solidify shared understanding and clarity around their shared social mission.   Whether you are working to deliver and prove your programs, providing resources for change, or looking for opportunities to be “part of the solution”, your voice has a place to be heard.

Bring Your Value to the “Table”

Meet Our Founder – LisaAnn McConnell

Born one of eleven children, LisaAnn is sensitive to her surroundings and the impact she has on the people and environments around her.

Educated as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), she has spent her 30+ year consulting career working as a data lifecycle consultant striving to ensure that the correct data is collected within integrated systems to produce outputs that are both relevant and accessible.

The early adoption of her “reporting first” methodology supports her in consistently delivering relevant enterprise and social impact data systems that support both business and equitable impact advancement AND are relevant to all stakeholders.

Impact Forest was born after 4 years of her participating “around the tables” with social impact leaders in the City of Atlanta. From this came her realization that a standard framework (like that which successfully moves an enterprise from conception to success and profitability) was missing within social impact organizations.

During the pandemic of 2020 she realized that it was time for her to bring her understanding, ideas, and passion to life using her own grass roots efforts.

LisaAnn is a leader in designing foundational social impact systems that will support understanding and visibility across causes and geographies and is actively working to assemble others, who are fully committed to citizen-felt impact, to join her “thought-leader” and “thought-partner” teams.
